Behaviourists believe language is developed through initating others and gaining possitive and negative feedback.
Social Interactionists believe that childrens early language can be influenced and improved by adult carers.
Nativists Theorists believe that language is innate and that we are pre-programmed to acquire it.
Cognitive Theorists believe that language will grow when childrens ideas do.
